Ten (10) Questions That Will Absolutely Change Your Life

by Obi Okorougo

I went through my journal. It’s big & black, with gaffer tape supporting the spine, full of well-used pages, magazine clippings and questions. It inspires the hell out of me. The journal and the questions. Which is the subject of this post: questions, or rather the asking of proper ones. Without questions there can be no answers. So both the wise person and the seeker of wisdom must ask good questions. Great questions. Questions that make your skin flush and the hairs on your arm rise to attention.

I went through the beast (my journal) and pulled out the questions that moved me. Questions that paused me. Questions that dared something deep within me to present itself.

So in turn I do the same with you. I dare you to answer these questions. In fact I double dare you. And if we really want to make this interesting, I’ll present a physical challenge: answer them (no doubt) and then act. Do it. Live your Answer.

I dare you.

10 Questions That Will Absolutely Change Your Life:

1. How am I best suited to serve humanity?

2. What do I feel growing inside me? (...Let me bring that forth, for its own sake and not for what it can do for me or how it can advance my standing.)

3. How can I create joy and abundance in someone’s Life today?

4. What can one (wo)man do to influence humanity and change the course of the world? (A great question from “Bucky" Fuller.)

5. a) What excites you?
b) If you were to master something, what would it be?

6. How can I do more amazing shit?

7. If today was the last day of my Life, would I do the things that I’m about to do today?

8. What do I really want?

9. What would Bruce Lee do? (Context: Bruce Lee was one of the most disciplined men that has ever lived. If you had that kind of discipline ((which you no doubt have the power to cultivate)) how would you behave?)

10. What would it take for me to be perfectly happy?

Answer the questions. Get clear. Watch your Life change.

I live on Earth at present, and I don’t know what I am. I know that I am not a category. I am not a thing — a noun. I seem to be a verb, an evolutionary process – an integral function of the universe.* Buckminster (Bucky) Fuller *

haha...Bucky Fuller.  That’s a mouth fuller.  Great questions..."What would it take for me to be perfectly happy?” This one is interesting.  Perfect happiness? hmmmm I see a cloud, I see nine of them...and I see Coconut Bliss Chocolate Hazelnut Ice Cream and a beautiful glimmering sea and walking into this room...http://style.popcrunch.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/ckunderwear.jpg

i like “What Would Bruce Lee Do (WWBLD)”.
especially the bracket inside bracket.

oh btw, the best question imo would be “What would it take for me to be perfectly happy?”
i guess this alone is enough to represent the whole thing above.

Picasso (Full name: Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso!)

Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working.

Give me a museum and I’ll fill it.

God is really only another artist. He invented the giraffe, the elephant and the cat. He has no real style, He just goes on trying other things.

Only put off until tomorrow what you are willing to die having left undone.

The world today doesn’t make sense, so why should I paint pictures that do?

When I die, it will be a shipwreck, and as when a huge ship sinks, many people all around will be sucked down with it.
